HILLTOP FARM JOB VACANCY – SUMMER HARVEST STAFF

We are a diverse farm based on the North East side of Leicester and Rutland.  We are mainly arable with diversification projects; commercial and residential storage etc.  We also run a store beef cattle operation.

Reliable summer staffs required, to assist in combining, corn carting and cultivating.  To work within a small team. A possible job share arrangement could be accommodated. 

Some experience required and willingness to be flexible and work long hours in peak periods.

We will consider all age groups from students to semi-retired.

Generous hourly rate and the possibility of permanent full time work if of interest.

Due to progress within our business we require a high calibre farm worker with proven experience to assist in all aspects. Key attributes are that they are passionate, honest, dedicated and punctual with close attention to detail with a good knowledge of all arable operations.

The applicant needs to be self-motivated, happy to work as part of a small team but able to work on own initiative.  Willing to be flexible and work long hours in peak periods.

Workshop skills would be of benefit.

Job: Reliable summer harvest staff required, working across two farms in the Melton Mowbray/Oakham area and North/East Leicestershire, to assist as part of a small team in hay/haylage making, combining, corn carting and cultivating. 

Some experience is required and the willingness to be flexible and work long hours in peak periods.

Pay: Good hourly rate.

Accommodation may be available for persons out of the area.
